Apply for the Design Bridge Client Servicing & Strategy Graduate Scheme 2016

If you’re graduating this year and looking for a brilliant, creative and inspiring place to start your career then you might be interested to know that we have a Graduate Scheme specifically for people wanting to develop a career in Client Services or Strategy.

First things first. The basics. Successful applicants will based in our London Studio, and the scheme is open to Graduates who want to develop a career in Strategy or Client Services (if you’re a looking for a career as a designer then this scheme isn’t for you, but don’t forget that design students can enter our Dog’s Bollocks Student Awards competition for a chance to win a paid placement in our London Studio).

Intrigued? Let us tell you more…

Our Graduates will spend 6 months immersing themselves in all aspects of Design Bridge life, getting to understand every part of the design process through hands-on project experience and training. After this, they’ll spend a further 6 months working in either the Client Services or Brand Strategy team. At the end of the 12 months, successful applicants will become full-time members of the team as either a Client Executive or Market Analyst. Here’s a little bit more about these roles…

Client Executive in the Client Servicing Team

Involved from the very beginning of a project until it lands on a shop shelf, our Client Executives will learn how to plan and manage successful projects, and develop skills in building meaningful relationships with clients. There will be shop safaris to go on, proposals to write, and all manner of things to learn alongside your mentors. If you’re keen to find out more about working in the Client Servicing Team, have a read of David’s blog post – he’s a Senior Client Manager based in our Amsterdam Studio.

Market Analyst in the Strategy Team

From competitor analysis to product naming via innovation workshops, our Market Analysts work alongside Senior Strategists to help develop market and brand understanding, and solve strategic problems. Our Strategy team are also great at sharing insight and inspiration, making them excellent contributors to our blog. For example, you can read all about the things the team wish they had written here, here and here, or take a look at Natalie’s “A day in the life of a Brand Strategist” blog post.

Our London Studio

London is where it all began for us. In fact, our London Studio is still in the Clerkenwell building we started in, although we’ve had to take over next door to fit us all in as we’ve grown over the years. From the excellent choice of market lunches (Exmouth AND Leather Lane) to the wide selection of gins in our local (The Three Kings), and creative inspiration all around us, Clerkenwell is our home. And whether it’s visiting new exhibitions and inspirational talks, exploring craft and new ideas with our clients, exciting goings on around the Studio, or the abundance of extra-curricular activities to get involved in, there’s never a dull moment.
