What we’re listening to this week #14

Each week, Andy K puts together the WWLTTW playlist – music and sounds that inspire the Design Bridge Studios. This week’s musical selection has been entirely curated from Twitter suggestions. Over to Andy…

WWLTTW #14

Social media is a funny thing. People throw all kinds of stuff at you that you have to try to catch or sidestep so that you don’t get it on your shoes. We’re not trying to make life any easier for you, that kind of service would cost you so much more than a few measly song suggestions, so you’ll have to decide which ones of these to kiss, marry or kill all by yourself.

Make your own mind up. We’re not even going to give you any clues this time around.

Wil Cajucom – Parking Lot Conversations:

The North – Fortune Told Her:

Callaghan – Best Year:

Ought – Beautiful Blue Sky:

Birds Of Chicago – All The City Girls: listen to it here.

Gwenno – Chwyldro (‘Revolution’):

Led Zeppelin – If It Keeps On Raining (When The Levee Breaks – Rough Mix): Get it on The Guardian.

Sara Rachele – Rebecca:

Viet Cong – Silhouettes:

Bully – Trying:

Hailey Whitters – Black Sheep:

Narrow Plains – Keep You Anyway:

KAEB – When We Fall (which is actually Portishead’s Geoff Barrow, with a video directed by Alex Garland):

And one for good luck (in case you were superstitious), The Picturebooks – Your Kisses Burn Like Fire:

Let us know what you think and we’ll seek out more from these artists. Alternatively, we’ll let them stagger around in the twitterverse forever.
